Repeat Prescriptions
You can request a ‘repeat’ prescription at any time 24 hours per day by phoning our ‘Prescription Order Line’ recording machine on the main surgery phoneline 02890457677 (there is a ‘press1 option for prescription line’ facility). Alternatively you may post your request, or call in person at the surgery, or place your request in the prescription box located in reception. Your prescription will be ready for collection 48 hours later (two working days).
You are now able to order your prescription on–line. To use this facility you must first register on the system. To get the information to do this, simply call in person at the reception desk at the surgery and the staff will give you a special letter with your individual registration details. (You can also register to make appointments for your children if they are under 16years).
Please note the medication you take regularly may be put on ‘repeat’ by one of our Doctors in the Practice. This is the only medication you will be able to order online, please do not leave a message for any medication that is not listed on the screen as it will not be issued. If your medication is not on the repeat list you will need to request it by telephoning the surgery and selecting Option 1 or by placing it in the prescription box in reception.
Once you have this letter simply click on the link below to register. This is the same link you then use to log–in to request repeat prescriptions once you are registered.
Patient Access Screen: https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk
It will be ready for collection at reception 48 hours later (two working days).
Some of our patients arrange with a local Chemist for their prescription to be collected from the surgery. This can be very convenient and we are happy to facilitate this. You should sort this out directly with the Chemist. Sometimes the Chemist will deliver the medicines to your home (especially for elderly and disabled patients), but this arrangement is entirely separate from the surgery and any queries in regard to this should be taken up with the Chemist.
Please note that medicines such as antibiotics will not normally be prescribed without the patient being seen by a doctor.
