Telephone Advice
Most medical enquires can be handled very quickly if you phone the surgery and leave a message or question which the receptionist can pass on to the doctor. You can then phone back for a prompt reply.
There will usually be a much longer delay to speak to a doctor directly on the phone. If you need to speak to a doctor urgently please contact the surgery before 9.30am and leave your telephone number. The reception staff will normally enquire as to the nature of your query, so that they can pass the details to the doctor who may need to check your records before phoning back. It is a very busy practice and the doctor will endeavour to return your call once morning surgery is finished. If your enquiry is not urgent please phone at any other time.
Please note that phone calls to the surgery are recorded for monitoring purposes and to ensure accuracy. These recordings are of course confidential and will not be disclosed to a third party without your consent.
